Before You Begin
BECOME is a biblical discipleship course designed to help you understand Scripture, reflect honestly, and grow in your relationship with God. It is not professional counseling, medical care, or an emergency service.
Your written responses may be viewed by your assigned discipler and authorized BECOME ministry leaders so they can encourage and assist you. We will treat your responses with care and respect, but we cannot promise absolute confidentiality when someone may be in danger or when reporting is required by law. This system is not monitored continuously.
If you need immediate help, contact emergency services or speak directly with a pastor or qualified professional.
How your responses are used
Your lesson responses are saved as part of your BECOME journey. Your assigned discipler and authorized BECOME ministry leaders may read them to encourage you, answer questions, and review your progress.
Your choices
Participating in BECOME is voluntary. If you would rather discuss something personally, you may pause and contact your discipler or a pastor instead of placing sensitive details in a written response.
Privacy and safety
Personal sharing will be handled respectfully and only for appropriate ministry purposes. Absolute confidentiality cannot be promised when there is concern that someone may be in danger, when abuse or neglect may need to be reported, or when disclosure is otherwise required by law.
Professional and emergency support
BECOME and its disciplers provide biblical teaching, spiritual encouragement, and pastoral support. They do not replace licensed medical, mental-health, legal, or emergency professionals. The website is not monitored continuously.
